Works great for protecting the new B&N Nook just as the description states. I have been using it for over a week with no issues and it fits the Nook with just a little room around the edges to protect it from drops. Great padding and protection with no issues so far.

This cover provides excellent protection for your nook. Unfortunately it's very heavy. Reading with it attached is relatively easy, but due to the added size and weight can be tiring.
The only quality issue in the case I see is that the handle appears to be weak compared to the rest of the case. I will probably avoid carrying it by the handle for fear the handle will tear off one day.
If you fly much, you really need one of these. This is probably the best protective case you could buy, but it comes at the price of weight, and the fact that the nook is semi-permanently attached to the case. You definitely don't want to try removing it from the case every time you want to read.
If the nook attached to the case in a different way (snap clips in the built-in slots, or perhaps tight elastic holding the corners) I would have given it 5 stars. A different mounting method that allowed easier removal from the case for daily reading would make it perfect.

Bought this cover in the hopes that I wouldn't destroy this super nice Nook I got from my mom for Christmas. I've dropped it, put it in checked luggage, and set heavy things on top of it with no consequence to the Nook! Book Armor = my heroes!

I got a new Nook at Christmas and quickly learned that it's vulnerable in its uncovered state.
I fashioned a padded cover for it and then started thinking about what I'd like to see in a real one. Ballistic nylon cover, zipper around three sides, padded inside and a spine-length strap to use to hold it while using it.
I looked on Barnes & Noble and didn't see anything so I checked Amazon and voila, there it was, the BookArmor.

The travel case/Book Armor I chose for my Nook/E-reader is the best one, for me anyway.I am a very hard on things/clumsy kind of person, so I searched high & low for the most durable.The Book Armor protects my E-reader in almost any kind of clumsy or as they put it(high impact)situation.My Nook/E-reader fits perfectly into the Book Armor even with it's bright pink silicone skin.It's a little pricey, but it's worth it to protect your Nook/E-reader.The Book Armor Travel Case is a must have Nook/E-reader item!!!!!!
