What is not mentioned in the description here is its a 120 VAC product and thus can not be used internationally where most power is 220 V. The 120 V limitation is due to the surge protection. Myself, I would prefer no surge protection and the same product for 110-220 to provide maximum flexibility.

My iSurge just arrived and I have just started using it -- finding out it quirks etc. It seems to be a good addition to my growing list of charging paraphernalia. There are however a few things you should know before pulling the trigger.
While its operation isn't complicated, it does have some issues. It appears solid, a little lighter than I expected but it is just a plug with an iPhone and USB port and three three prong surge protected (or so it says--612 joules limit) outlets. Not very complicated. The male plug on the back rotates thru 180 degrees --the unit works one way horizontally (the way you would use it if using the iPhone charging dock) or will work either direction vertically (USB at top or bottom). The only drawback I have found is that, to use the iPhone dock, your outlets on the wall MUST have the third prong (grounding prong) ON THE BOTTOM. My home is a little more than forty years old and most of my outlets are upside down for this orientation. Those outlets that have been replaced over the years are installed with this convention. This limits the flexibility for me but probably would not be a major issue for others, particularly if you live in newer construction. There are some workarounds anyway.
The outlets work. What else do you say about them? They are adequately sized -- could be tight if you have larger plugs. Three of the little iPad "mini-bricks" chargers would be a very tight fit side by side.
The night light is useful and has an on/off switch on it in case you find you don't want the light.
Included with the iPhone dock are two extra inserts which are variously sized. There is no reference to them in the extremely minimalist directions but they snap out -- pop up the front edge and lift out. You can choose the one that fits your phone the best. None of them would fit my iPhone 4 with Otterbox Reflex case on it. The unit ships with the midsize dock installed -- I found the smaller of the three fits my iPhone 4 (without case) the best and holds it snuggly.
I have not tried the USB port a lot -- charged my bluetooth headset quickly but that is all so far. I will update this if I discover anything amiss.
All in all, it seems to work well with no problems encountered yet.

The perfect traveling companion! The iSurge charges my iPhone, iPod and even my iPad while providing the extra surge protected outlets every hotel room needs and never has. My favorite thing is that the wall plug swivels so it works no matter how the outlet is positioned. The night light is really helpful in a strange hotel. Another great aspect of the iSurge is that it allows me to leave at least 3 chargers at home and makes my load that much lighter! Word of advice... buy two because your other iPhone friends will try and steal yours!

My wife ordered this for our home. I liked the iSurge so much I ordered another for traveling. You can charge your iPhone, iPad and iPod. No longer a need to carry multiple chargers. It also has a swivel wall plug, surge protected outlets and a night light. It's an absolute must for road warriors or if you have trouble keeping up with all those chargers.

Great product! All in one charger. The iSurge charges my iPhone, iPad and iPod! It also provides extra surge protected outlets and has a night light. Perfect for traveling. I'm ordering more for Christmas gifts.
