Great value, great caseApr 12, 2010

You can't beat this case, especially considering how much Barnes & Noble charges for its own series of cases. This one is a little heavy, so you probably won't be reading the nook much while it's in the case, but it has a sweet little storage pocket on the front and the interior is packed with enough foam to offer adequate protection from "incidents". You can also lock it if you feel paranoid. Overall, a great price for a great case. Highly recommended!

Perfect for the Nook Color in a Silicone Case!Feb 28, 2011
By Joshua A. Piejko I spent a while shopping on Amazon to find a case that was built well and would fit a Nook Color inside a silicone case. This case fit my criteria perfectly. The exterior is of a soft, suede like material and the interior is a soft almost nylon like fabric. The build quality is really good. There is an additional front pocket to store the usb cord, the zippers are high quality, and the padding is just enough to protect your Nook when placing it in a computer bag or walking around campus with it and a handful of books.
This case was a little more expensive than the 10 dollar ones I found on Amazon (cost 17 bucks at the time of writing), but for the money, it still beats any of the cases that Barnes and Noble offer.

Great ProductFeb 17, 2011

This is a great product if you are aware of what you are getting. It's not a Nook cover. It does not fit snugly around your nook... has about an inch of leeway. It's more like what you'd look for in a laptop case, something to keep your device safe. There is room for you to put your Nook in a cover, and then inside this case for protection during travel. The pocket on the outside holds my Nook electrical plug and cord for recharging. The picture showed it with an orange interior when I ordered, but mine is blue nylon. The only thing I wish it had is a handle. I keep my Nook inside it when I'm not using it daily, and I think it will be great for traveling. But I did also get an actual Nook cover.

pretty good protective caseJan 17, 2011

I got this for my dad to use with his nook and it's pretty much as advertised. It's not something you could read the book in, but if you are carrying the book around in a briefcase like my dad does, it seems pretty adequate for protection. no bells and whistles, but just as advertised. it would probably fit any e-reader because it's a little roomy for the nook and kindle.
Does what I need it to doNov 17, 2011

I bought this so I'd have a case in which to put the USB to A/C adapters, my memory cards, and to protect my Kindle (since I have a cover for my actual Nook), and it does what I need it to do - the only thing that would make it better would be some rigidity on the sides to further protect the e-reader, but if it did have that, then I wouldn't be able to put as much stuff in it. I love the feel of it - it's very soft - and I like the side pocket a LOT. I also like that I can open just the top and slip my Kindle in and out without having to completely open it up if I happen to be out somewhere - just leave it in my purse with the open end up and I'm good to go. If you're looking for something to do heavy-duty protection, this isn't the right thing, but if you're looking for something that will keep the dust off, keep the screen from being scratched while you carry it around in a purse or store it in a drawer, and especially if you like a little pocket to keep the little extras, then this will do the trick for you at a decent price.
