Sony create some incredible leather cases for their products, I have never encountered such high quality leather. This is no exception. Hard, supple, beautiful smelling leather.
I have the PRST1 reader and used a penknife to take out the middle and then used elastic to hold my reader in place. A high quality case for a great reader for only a fiver.

For the price of $5 this cover was pretty much a steal. Its a basic, good cover that has plastic attachments for the Sony 600 E-Reader series. While the cover is not as nice as more expensive covers, it is fairly sturdy. The downside is that the description does not note the compatible model number. In my own case, the case did not fit my newer 650 Touch Reader model. However, for anyone for looking for a cover for their 600 Touch E-readers, the price can't be beat.
Revision - since the review I did see that there is a reference about the compatibility for E-Reader model #600.

It's a really dark dark chocolaty brown color, almost black really. I like the color a lot. It's sturdy material, pretty much the same as any of the other covers I've encountered for the sony readers. I read the product description thoroughly, and at one point it says: Adjust the brightness with 2 light levels and flexible arm ... I didn't think this case had a light in it, especially for the price, but this product detail is confusing and a little misleading. I'm sure it's just an error, they probably copied the description from one of the lighted cases and forgot to fix it... so everyone knows... THIS CASE DOES NOT HAVE A LIGHT.
Which is fine with me, I didn't expect it to have a light, but someone might order it thinking they were getting a light case and then be disappointed or angry about it. So yeah, nice case, great cover, no light. Might even order a couple more as spares.

it is definitely not genuine leather, but what can you expect of a $5.00 product (including shipping). It also does not fit my PRS650, but it could have been my fault not reading the whole description, and just searching for PRS-650 cover on amazon. It's going to the dumpster, but most likely it is my own fault.

Because I didn't read the size of the cover, it is large for my reader, but I can still use it and it gives me the protection I wanted.
