Great for bathtime readingMar 25, 2010
By Carolyn Armstrong I bought this item so I can read my Nook in the bathtub, and I will also be taking it with me to the beach in a few weeks. The product has two separate zip lock seals that are folded over and held in place by snaps. I feel confident that no water will get into the case in a basic wet or sandy environment, but I wouldn't want to use it to read my Nook submerged underwater or anything like that. There is also some glare from the plastic, but nothing that made the Nook unreadable. Navigating the touch screen isn't easy, but once you have your book open and on the right place, turning the page is very easy.

Great Little Waterproof CaseMay 12, 2010
By J. Parker I purchased this for my wife's new Nook. So I what is posted is my interpretation of her opinion.
She absolutely loves being able to use her Nook in the tub and pool. She was impressed with having full functionality of the device when it is in the sleeve with the exception of turning the Nook on/off. But in actuality one would turn the device on before placing it inside. The sleeve does not produce glare, so reading at different angles poses no problem. Her only real concerns is the closure system. The opening consists of two zip type closures one above the other which are then folded over and secured with snaps. Her complaint is with the outer most zipper, for her it is hard to tell when it is secure. Over all she is 100% satisfied and loving it.

dry bag that works!Sep 26, 2010
By Rachel Kiley I bought this bag for my nook. I love to read in the pool. I took it tubing down the Rainbow river and naturally being the graceful tuber that I am, I fell in the river the first time I tried to get on the tube. Everything in the bag was safe! I also read the nook all summer and it is still safe as well. This bag is the perfect size and very safe. Great buy!

Saved my Nook, but it's not water PROOF.Sep 30, 2010
By Dena I have used this at the pool twice now. I was REALLY relieved to have it last weekend when my daughter grabbed my nook and tossed it into the pool. I rescued it right away and was happy to discover that my nook had survived the swim. However, it was a near thing because there were water droplets all over it upon removal (thought I was extremely careful to make sure I sealed it in properly). So I just want to say that this is water RESISTANT, not water PROOF - but either way it saved my Nook, so it's worth the money.

Great waterproof productMay 06, 2010
By Audrey R. Powers This is great and is completely waterproof. It was hard to read in the sun because of the plastic, but other than that is was great.
