My iPhone 3g was broken for about 4 months before I found this item and I am so glad I did. I had taken it to the Apple Store when I broke it and they confirmed that it was the LCD that was broken, but would be $200 to repair it.
I ordered from Zeetron and it took about a week to get to TX. The box included the screen sealed in an airtight pouch, a free screen protector and a baggy including: a Philips screwdriver, flat head screw driver, 3 different prying tools, a guitar pick and a suction cup.
After reading the reviews I wasn't sure I would get the tools or not, but I did from Zeetron. If you've got a good small eyeglass screwdriver I would recommend using it over the free plastic one, but the prying tools and suction cup came in handy.
It took me about 40 minutes to complete everything, but I was going ultra slow and taking my time watching each section of the YouTube video as I went. The 3rd wire is tricky because the video doesn't show how to lift the hinge, but it's a very small piece that lifts up and then the wire slides away from you, parallel to the length of the phone. (You'll see what I mean when you get in there.) Be sure to keep the metal backing from your broken LCD as you have to transfer it to your new LCD.
It's been about a month since I installed the new screen and it is working like a charm. I absolutely cannot tell a difference between the original and replacement screen. I have ordered many things from Amazon, but this is the first product I've really felt the need to share a review. If your iPhone screen is broken, don't waste any time. Buy this one. Highly recommended!

Ordered mine from screenprotectorstore. This LCD is exactly what you expect it to be. Works perfectly as the original did and has a sticky back to attach it to the metal plate that was attached to the back of your old LCD (hopefully you didn't throw that part out!). Not even that difficult of an install. Almost as easy as it was to break my original LCD!

I ordered this replacement LCD screen for an iPhone 3g from Zeetron after I broke my previous LCD while attempting to remove dust particles that had gathered between the LCD and the Touch Panel. I had followed some poor instructions that told me to pry the LCD from the bottom of the touch panel, when in fact, and as detailed in Zeetron's instructions, you should insert a screw driver and lightly pry the screen from between the metal brackets on the side. Be delicate when replacing your screen and make sure to view Zeetron's instructions before attempting to replace your LCD.
I ordered the screen on a Sunday, it shipped from NY the next day, and I received it in IL 4 days later. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had not only sent me the replacement LCD, but tools to replace it, and a free screen protector. It seems they really want you to be happy! I actually took about an hour for me to install the new screen, but that's because I was super careful and watched their youtube video several times (as they state, a pro can probably do them in about 10 minutes).
Once installed, the screen works as advertised and looks just like the original. All the dust that had accumulated between the LCD and the touch panel was gone now too, and you could never tell I had replaced it.
On a side note, the freebie screen protector is kind of a mirror finish, and while you can see through the screen beneath it when using it, it does reduce the quality of the image. As such, mine went in the trash...but again, it was a freebie and not expected.
I would definitely recommend purchasing this product from Zeetron again, but hopefully will not need to!

I ordered this about a week ago and installed it today. First, the quality is nice and it fits perfectly. After installation and turning my phone back on, the new LCD flickers all of the time. I thought maybe I hadn't seated the connection properly, but both of my attempts just showed me that the connection is fine. The flicker is better than the cracked LCD I had before, but that's not saying much.

"Keep it Simple"
Simple and sweet. Perfect LCD screen replacement for Iphone 3g. Problem is that it came with 4 bad pixels which are usually only noticeable on opening screen. Great product, but I don't feel like putting in an extra effort to send it back for a replacement.
